3 Marias pays homage to:

+      my given name: Maria Margarita Liñeiro

+      to Mary, mother of Jesus, who models willingness and openness to Mystery, and

+      to all those who open themselves to the truth that “beauty equals hope”

I have been designing since I was a little girl embedded in the traditions of my native Nogales, AZ.  The rich textures of desert and sky continue to be a deeply grounding influence in my simple design aesthetic.   

When I walk into a space I’m listening for the components of the building story - who are these people, what do they value – I hold this in sacred trust.  I step into this with them to create their own unique narrative.  This connection feeds creativity and agility; it is the nourishment for what I do. 

3 Marias studio is located in the 12th South neighborhood in Nashville, TN where I live and garden with my husband and our dog Chula.
